Earlier ENM was released in Mumbai only in one theater and I could not watch the movie. This time it released in multiple theaters on the 2nd October. I knew that it would not be a good idea to wait, therefore I booked the tickets on 1st October itself.

Like I had thought, it was a packed show with only the two front rows empty and the rest of the theater was full. This proves that people are ready to accept good movies.

When the show started and Prithviraj showed up on the screen, his fans whistled, this is rare in Mumbai, my first experience with any actor in a Mumbai theater.

This movie is based on a true story and shows deep love between Moideen and Kanchanamala. I dont think we can see this kind of a love these days.

The location and visuals are excellent. Its a story that took place around 1957, therefore its a movie where art direction plays a very important role and the art director has succeeded in giving the people a feel of the 1950s and 60s. I just had one question in my mind, did people in the 1950s or 60s wear a Chudidar or Salwar Kameez in Kerala? I mean, I am really not sure.

Overall the whole movie was a treat to watch and there are chances that Prithviraj and Parvathi might end up winning a few awards for their performances in the film. This is a must watch for everyone.

Positives

- Excellent performances from Prithviraj and Parvathi

- None

Verdict: Block Buster
